Consultation
During this meeting
we discuss your goals for building a web site. This includes a
definition of your target audience and their needs so that the
finished site is tailored for your customers. We will establish
the requirements for your site’s appearance. This is the
overall look and feel and includes:
- Color scheme
- Navigation design
- Layout
We will also identify any textual, graphic and photographic material
that is to be provided by you and any textual, graphic and photographic
source material to be designed and created by CVWebWorks.
We will set up the work schedule and delivery dates and at the
conclusion of the meeting we will review the deliverables and
sign the contract.
Alpha Phase
The alpha phase is
an evaluation of two test design layouts. At this stage we will
present you with two versions of a Home page design based on our
initial consultation. Sub pages will be roughed in as
Beta Phase
The beta phase is
a test of the web site at approximately 90% complete. It will
be posted on our test site for your evaluation. All pages will
be in place and linked in. This will give you a chance to evaluate
your web site online and identify final tweaks and adjustments.
Deployment
Your site is deployed
to its final URL. We test it with Internet Explorer, Netscape,
and Mozilla browsers. You review and approve the deployed site.
You are now live on the web.
Maintenance
We provide three months
free maintenance. This includes link changes, minor text, graphic
and photograph changes. For the long term we recommend a maintenance
contract that will keep your site current and up to date. These
plans include:
- Validation
of links
- Submission to new
search engines
- Minor updates to
text and graphics
Updating your site
can be just as important as having one!
Search Registration
and Optimization
As a vehicle for communicating
with your customers and promoting your business a web site must
be accessible though search engines. This require periodic attention.
At deployment, we provide registration with various free search
engines. For a fee, we will register your site with the pay search
engines and keep them current.
